Century - in your retirement

Century aims to provide you with healthcare support and a cash benefit if incapacity prevents you from completing routine activities of daily living after three months - membership.

Taking out a Century Plan with the British Friendly Society is easy. If you are aged between 60 and 75 you can apply to join. Membership is available so long as you are resident in the UK.

Just fill in the application form and return it to British Friendly Society Ltd, FREEPOST BF57, Bedford, MK40 2BR. We simply ask your GP for a medical report.

Cover Options

Choose the level of cover you want between £1,000 and £10,000.

The amount you pay depends o­n the level of cover you choose. Please refer to the following table to calculate your premium or call us free o­n 0800 975 6565.

The British Friendly Society works to the Activities of Daily Living listed by clinicians and social workers:

Washing yourself

Moving from room to room

Dressing yourself

Feeding yourself

Moving from your bed to a chair and back again

Using the toilet or managing protective underwear or surgical appliances, if appropriate

The value of your capital account will depend upon interest and apportionment rates declared each year, so could be lower than the amount you pay in premiums.
